Support Roots of Reform Judaism

Our work depends on your support. We deeply appreciate your contributions which allow us to continue to develop and provide educational, musical, and liturgical resources to help meet the growing and diverse beliefs and practices of Reform Jews, interfaith families, the disenfranchised unaffiliated, and underserved Jewish populations looking for accessible and inspiring avenues of connection.

Make a Pledge

Not ready to give? Make a pledge.

Gifts are frequently made in the form of a pledge, payable in installments throughout the year. Many people find that they can make a larger gift by spreading their payments over a number of months. Our annual support year runs January 1-December 31.

If you'd like to make a pledge, please contact Jill Silverstein at 617-684-1882 or jsilverstein@rootsofreform.org.

Gift of Securities

Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to Roots of Reform Judaism. Compared with donating cash, or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction.

If you have any questions or need assistance with a gift of securities,
please contact Jill Silverstein at 617-684-1882 or jsilverstein@rootsofreform.org.

Matching Gifts

Many companies offer programs that match gifts made by their employees. The matching gift process differs from company to company. Some require a completed paper acknowledgment form, while others have an online system. Others still request that claims be filed by telephone. In any case, if your company does provide a matching gift claim form, please complete it and send it to:

Roots of Reform Judaism
PO Box 19025
Cincinnati, OH 45219

The impact of your gift to Roots of Reform Judaism may be doubled or possibly tripled! If you have any questions or need assistance with a matching gift, please contact Jill Silverstein at 617-684-1882 or jsilverstein@rootsofreform.org.

Memorial & Honor Gifts

Donors may recognize others through memorial and honor gifts. This provides meaningful recognition to the person being honored and shows one’s desire to connect this gesture with supporting Roots of Reform Judaism.

Gifts can be made in honor of a family member’s special achievement, a rabbi or teacher, or other individual who has made a difference in your life, or special occasions such as birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, or other events.

All memorial and honor gifts are promptly acknowledged to donors and those being honored. Honorees and families of persons honored by such gifts are advised of the donor’s name and address with a gift card. The amount of the gift is not reported.

To honor an individual or their memory, please note the honor/memorial information, including the name and address of those who should be notified of your gift, in the online donation form or include a note with a mailed gift.
