Cantor Tamar Heather Havilio, Head of Cantorial Studies, Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music, Hebrew Union College, Jerusalem, introduces us to the colorful and soulful lives and music of three major Reform Jewish composers. Some of their compositions are highlighted in this talk and in this worship service, In the Majesty of Holiness, that was held at Hebrew Union College, Jerusalem, on April 11, 2013. The service was co-sponsored by the Society for Classical Reform Judaism.

Hebrew Union College, Jerusalem, Israel, March, 2012. It was co-sponsored by the Society for Classical Reform Judaism, and was part of the Society’s Inaugural Institute on the Jerusalem campus. The service includes choral music, prayers and readings from the Union Prayer Book.
