Learning Session: “Reclaiming and Renewing our Reform Jewish Heritage ” on Thursday, December 12, 8:45 AM.

Rabbi Howard Berman, Executive Director of the Society was joined by our Board members Rabbis Nadia Siritsky and Edward P. Cohn, and guest panelists in exploring the various ways that Reform congregations can rediscover our shared heritage and meaningfully incorporate our historic Reform traditions into their worship and programs.

Worship Service: “The Beauty of Holiness“-  Thursday, December 12, 5:00 PM.

For the first time in many years, there was a Classical Reform worship option at a Biennial. Rabbi Nadia Siritsky and Cantors Yvon Shore (Hebrew Union College Cincinnati) and Evan Cohen (Kehilat Har-El, Jerusalem), joined Rabbi Berman in offering a beautiful worship experience from  the Union Prayer Book- Sinai Edition, Revised – with music spanning both the historic repertoire and  contemporary compositions.

The SCRJ also hosted a booth in the Exhibition Hall, staffed by our Board, featuring our newsletters, CD recordings and other materials.
